One weekend, driving home from the Muskokas, the Pastor and kids were almost involved in a head-on collision with a car driving on the wrong side of the road. To avoid being hit, the driver had to swerve onto the road's shoulder; thankfully, no one was hurt. When churches in the County heard about what happened, they decided it was time to find some property to build a summer camp for local kids to attend. However, there was one problem! They had no money! Imagine saying that to the real estate agent when telling them that you want to buy land to start a kids' camp! God provided a miracle by connecting the search committee with Al Goheen, a real estate agent who had acquired the property where the kids' camp is currently located. Another business agreed to hold the mortgage with no down payment and low interest! Many others gave generously, and the property was purchased so kids would have a faith-centred camp to attend in the summer!
